Teaism

I like tea. I think that’s an understatement, I love tea. I can have it at any point of the day, even in a shower. The easiest way to keep me by your side is to make a cup of tea for me. I have never actually tasted a bad brew. According to me, it’s an art to make perfect tea and it is equally artistic to create a bad one.

Recently, I was feeling lazy so I asked my boyfriend to make a cup of tea. At first, he was hesitant and said that he did not know how to make tea; however, after making a puppy face ( which I am really good at, believe me! ) and giving him a few instructions, like how much water to put in and other basic ingredients, he agreed. What I think would have been like half an hour, he came back with a decorated tray containing tea, roasted capsicum, asparagus and sweet potato (from last night) and rosemary garlic bread. I must say that I was impressed by his effort but what mesmerized me was tea. It was nowhere close to what would have been a by-product of my instructions. At that moment he revealed that he already knew how to make tea and was denying just to get out of the work.
