The Trailhead Market & Pub

One more trip to see the fall colors of 2018 before they start fading away and the winter comes( 🙁 I am sad about that ). I landed in Charlotte, NC from where my gang and I drove to Blue Ridge Parkway.

Looking Glass Waterfall by @shutterbae

The first stop was Linville Falls, where the waterfall area was filled with dogs and it was a happy place. One Thing that I would suggest is to buy the

Smokey Mountain Jam. My boyfriend does not like jam and he finished all of it in less than a week. After Linville falls we headed towards the TrailHead as we all were really hungry and had the capacity to eat a bear.

Ambiance 7.5/10

The interiors were warm and soothing in contrast to the weather outside. The place had a small bar tucked into a corner and has a corridor filled with wine and jewelry for sale.

Servitor 5/10

The kitchen had atmost 2 cooks and there was only one server.  The order took 45 min to arrive and the server forgot to get hot chocolate in the end.

Cuisine 4.5/10

No vegetarian options and not even much of fish options. There were maximum 14 options including the sides. I ordered the Trout and regret every second of that decision I made. Actually, any dish apart from sides was bland and had absolutely no taste. The hunger pangs also could not make it pleasing to the taste buds. The best dish was potatoes in a jacket, french fries, and coleslaw. The best thing about this place was its beer.

Price 5/10

Every dish is around $11 and the quantity is enough for just one person. According to me, the dishes were not worthy of this price.

Ruling 5/10

If you are not hungry enough then drive a little further away from Linville falls and have a nice meal at another nearby restaurant.

Bon Appetite!!
